Environmental education for site users, boat owners and anyone else interested in our environment.

As a Blue Flag accredited site we are always looking for ways to improve our environmental awareness and education for our staff, site users and boat owners alike while preserving marine life.

After the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, the largest offshore spill in US history, the world has been made aware of the extensive damage caused when our marine environment becomes contaminated.

It's important to make people aware of the damages that can occur when our environment is not looked after properly. Awareness is the key.

In Auckland, a very important marine spot is the Hauraki Gulf and it's Islands. They are publicly owned islands providing a safe haven for rare and endangered plants and animals.
